"SIX YEARS OF LAZERWOLF?"
**Yes, I know I'm about 18 days late on this.**
So, yeah. I just realized that this past June 25th was my six year anniversary of joining this community. It honestly makes me feel pretty old, lol.
But, man, what can I say?
It may sound silly, but you guys... or this community, rather, has shaped me into the man I've become today and I cannot even begin to thank you all enough.
Both users past and present have brought great joy, and even purpose to my life by helping me find my way in this crazy world of ours. Throughout the six years I've been here, I have attempted suicide three times, and every single time, you guys, helped get my confidence back up, and I'm proud to say that I haven't attempted in two years now. I couldn't have done this without SDK, and I could never thank you all enough for that in particular most of all.
I know that I've come to be known as "that guy" and quite the quirky individual, but I've been able to express myself freely because of the people here.
For all those who put up with me in my early years, (specifically my Ke$ha obsession, lol) you made me realize just what was right and what was wrong and helped me learn from mistakes, rather than continue to make them.
During my golden year, the lovely, twerk-crazed year of 2013 I got creative and became a blogger and the leader of a very popular ol' group called "Us". It was the year I was putting out seemingly pointless blogs every single day, from "The Dictators of America" series which became too redundant after awhile, (though, looking back on it, I really want to make a Donald Trump one! Haha) to my brief excursions into fanfiction. The latter leading me into my highly successful Twitter roleplaying career that I have to personally thank HexiDecimator for introducing me back in 2014.
Even though I was rather weird most of the time, and highly hyperactive in those years, I've grown to know it was just something that I needed to do. You guys gave me the ability to do that and the whole experience is something I will likely never forget.
But, when it came down to it, no matter what happened, even now, my heart was always here to make this community better and make everyone's experiences here like mine. I want to promote everyone's individual creativity, and say that it's okay to be different. Do not be ashamed of something that sets you apart from others. Rather, embrace it, for it is what makes you YOU and it is what makes you unique and worth something.
This was something I learned myself through my years here... and also where I began when I brought my original group over from Flipnote Hatena (yes, I started there) to here because I was welcomed with open arms and we were able to thrive and eventually fit in for once, every single one us, because of you all.
To sum this up, I'm proud of my time here, and I don't plan on going anywhere either. I want to give my full support to this community and I will do whatever I can to improve it that is in my power. I have always been, and still am open to doing anything to help out, because it's the least I could do for the community that saved my life and brought me to where I am today.
So, with that said:
🍻 CHEERS TO SIX YEARS AND TO ANOTHER SIX MORE! 🍻
❤️ I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU WITH ALL MY HEART! ❤️
THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!!
