Man I missed your lyrics blogs!
(They’re just as good as I remembered them being!)

I can’t help but wonder who it is that you’re talking about in these lyrics, but I hope that you’re feeling better now than you did when you wrote them.
( @Silverbunny said that you were feeling pretty depressed over relationship problems for a while there.)

Yeah, the breakup between me and this person was messy and hurtful. I hate calling people out on things, but being honest on what happened, some things in our relationship were not healthy and I knew they needed to change. But when I said that to her, she turned toxic and aggressive for about a month, all the while I was just taking it and holding on because I loved her and was trying to work it out with her. It became so toxic and hurtful that I would feel nothing but pain most days and my grades nearly got me kicked out of school. Probably sounds like a jerk thing to do, but I broke it off right before the one year mark. I truly did love her and care for her and wanted the best for her which made the breakup so hard. I wrote these lyrics that day. While the whole thing left scars and scars on me, I'm healing and it's been half a year since the breakup. She moved on to another guy after little more than a week and is still with him, so there's still pain and reminders every day. This song still rings true in some ways, but it is all definitely demagnified now.

Dang, that sounds pretty rough.

Hopefully you will both be able to move past all of this eventually, and return to being good friends like you used to.
