A very several time ago, in the Spain of 16th century, lived a man called Luis, he was a farmer, who every day worked hard for feed his family, he had a wife, a woman called Josefina, and two children called Pablo and Lucas.
Luis was always tired of his life, he felt he was a mess, he though he never wouldn't do something amazing, he felt every failure as an absolute error, who had his mental state very broken, he was tired of being a poor farmer, he wished everybody was succesful and happy, he always dreamed and imagined a country of perfection, where failure doesn't exist, the worries doesn't exist, and the society would don't care about your status or something like the Spanish society like that used to care.
The things were going worse for Luis, his son Pablo got the smallpox, A very mortal virus who in that moment was the terror in Europe and The New World, that continent that was recently discovered by Europe, and both Indigenous and European Settlers were suffering the epidemic.
Luis also was a very religious man, he everyday went to the samll church of his town to pray to God, he always pray for health, food and happiness for him and his family, and also always prayed for a better world, with no failure and sadness.
One day, when Luis was at the church, a strange and unknown woman appeared, she looked pretty, with long brown hair, white skin, brown eyes and white clotches, she said with her beautiful voice:
"Hey, Mr. Luis, look like you're suffering, your life looks boring, and you're worried for your family"
Luis was surprised, how that woman could know about his problems? so with a nervous voice Luis said:
"Wh- who are you??? W- WH- WHY DO YOU KNOW WHO AM I?"
The woman replied:
"I know you're nervous, but follow me, i will guide you to the perfect world that you need"
So the woman took Luis from the hand, and both walked to the exit door of the church, but instead of getting in the streets of the village, they reached an amazing place, it looked to be... Perfect
"This is the land you wanted, welcome to Perfectania, here the hate, poverty and evilness doesn't exist, you don't need to work, here the food is unlimited,on the trees and fields, Here the material richness doesn't matter, this is your perfect place"
Luis was curious but at the same time a little worried:
"W- wha- what??? You're a kind of saint, a magical person? do you w-want that I would live here? what will be about my family?"
The woman replied: "It's here, look behind you"
Luis was surprised and said: "AH! YOU'RE HERE! MY DEAR GIRL, MY DEAR CHILDREN, LOOKS LIKE WE REACHED THE PERFECT WORLD!
The last that the mysterious woman said is:
"Be happy in Perfectania, this is the place to be"
And she started to walk to the extense fields, and just dissapeared.
Now, Luis and his family lived in the perfect land, where failure and pain doesn't exist, where everyone could be succesful and perfect, do what they want, being free and in fraternal love, Luis said:
"Family, looks like god has choosen us..."
But with the pass of the months, Luis was feeling so empty, he and his family was in the most magical and perfect place on earth, with her beautiful landscapes and people, but, in some way, Luis felt empty, all the people was succesful and with liberty, errors or fear doesn't exist, but, if everyone can be succesful without hardworking... It means your success and happiness doesn't worth nothing at all... In this utopic land, the life has no sense more than... Well, living, there's no difficulties, no problems, And Luis started to got crazy, he started to miss his old life, after many months of living in Perfectania, he wanted to go back to his old life, so that woman who took Luis into here appeared again:
"I'm back, did you miss me?"
Luis, becoming angry and crazy yelled at her:
"YOU'RE SUCH A B*TCH! YOUR LAND IS TURNING ME CRAZY, IN THIS PLACE MY LIFE HAS NO SENSE, TURN ME BACK TO MY LAND"
The woman said:
"There's something about me that i didn't told me, let me show you who am i really"
So the woman turned into something scary and big at the same time,it looked like a winged creature, with thousands of eyed, Luis discovered all... That woman was an angel all this time, and this angel said to Luis:
"Hear me out, simpl mortal guy, this place isn't real, and you didn't lived here for months, time in earth even didn't passed since you're here..."
Luis was very scared and said:
"W- WH- WHAT??? WHAT'S THIS? WHO ARE YOU?"
The Angel said:
"I'm an Angel, i created all this fake perfect world, as a lesson to you, see your family here? that's not your real family, it's just more saints and angels pretending... I wanted to teach you about a important life lesson... Can you feel what you learned?"
And Luis said:
"You know something? i actually learned something... A perfect world where everybody is succesful and happy with no hardwork is boring, your happiness has no value, your life has no reason"
The Angel replied:
"Yes, my dear mortal, the failures and pain is necessary for your lifes, accept that, the failures are in all life aspects, and it's OK, the dialy hardwork you do gives a sense to your life, you can't make the failures and pain consume you, remember always laugh and be positive even in the worst circumstances, remember that the success is more valuable when you got it after a bunch of failures"
Then, the Angel bring back Luis to Earth, he learned a very important lesson, and now, he felt even more motivation for work more and more, for his family, with possitivism and hope for the future, he learned to accept the failures, for beat them easier.
