Honestly, I don't think online dates are as desperate as you guys are putting out. Okay, you can tell if someone just wants to cyber with you because they usually don't even try to get to know you. If people do it, I don't see why we should gettin their business. They just have to be smart about it. Though, I can understand the concern.

im against the people who go into the chatrooms and say things like "MY GF BROKE UP WIT ME ANYONE WANT TO DATE ME?" (wow im bad with very bad text talk) but im ok with people who take it seriously.

If everyone who followed their dreams made it, we all would be famous.
