I've said this before: the bulletin board forums are not an advertisement section, and that goes for almost anything; they are an area to be used solely for discussion. If you're doing a contest, keep it in a blog. It's not recommended, but you may talk about this subject here if you leave contests out of it and given that you provide adequate information to discuss.
