After sasuke was taken by orochimaru it became nothing but fillers (litterally) until shippuden. After he faught with pain alot more fillers showed up. It took him like 10 eppisodes to get to the island, but it takes less than one for tsunade to get to the land of wind (i think thats the place) where the island is at.

I dream of a better tomorrow, where chickens can cross the road and not be questioned about their motives.
