Beach VS. Pool... Which would you rather go to?

I like going to the beach to sit around in the sun, even though I can't really tan. If I ever want to go swimming, I go to the pool. I rather go boating or jet ski when Im at the beach. I have a slight fear of swimming in open water. I get to focus on whats in the water that I can't see and sometimes to the point where I cant focus on staying above the water. I like going to the beach just to other things but seeing this question is probably more focused on where you actually get in the water, my vote goes to pool.

I love the pool as long as no ones there. I don't like taking my shirt off in front of others :o Hate the beach because I can never get rid of the sand it seems. But sometimes I like the beach because it's relaxing but for swimming/tanning the pool is a must.
