I really hope that I'd be brave enough to do it (for anyone, let alone my family), but it's honestly hard to say when I've never been in a situation like that before.
But of what I know from a first aid class: one should avoid moving her in any way, keep her breathing, control bleeding by applying pressure, and elevate the leg to reduce circulation. And of course get help immediately by any means possible.
well id probly bust out the first aid kit n pull out some goz n stuff to stop the bleeding but id remove the bullet with tweezers first n put proxide n stuff + of my mom was consiose id have her tell me how 2 treat it+shot in the foot aint very fatal but im not very good at treating wounds but id try meh best
Well, from what I learned reading an ambulance worker's blog, I would lie her down, elevate her foot above her head, wrap the woud in a cloth, and apply pressure, and then wait until an ambulance gets there. .-.
I would wrap gauze around her foot, and try to slow the bleeding, while making sure she was still breathing. Then I would call my neighbor's mom (She's a doctor) and get her some help.
