You have all seen that one flipnote where Mario is being chased by something, right? Well, I downloaded an unlocked version of it so I could put my ideas into it. This time, Mario would be chased by a flaming bullet. It was my original idea that I came up with. It got over 35000 stars. I didn't think it would be so popular. There were some people who said that "stole" the flipnote or that I was star begging. I made some very significant changes to it, so I don't think it is stealing. What would you say?
Well, technically, it wasn't your original idea that you came up with. From what you stated, you got the idea for your flipnote by looking at another. Then you downloaded it and modified it. That's not original in my mind. Now if you had not downloaded it, but instead totally created your version, that would be more acceptable. Either way, I would expect that credit should go to the original creator.
I meant to say that the MODIFICATION (the flaming bullet) was my idea. The Mario-running-away-from-something was from the original creator. Sorry for if you misunderstood.
It's better if you just make a flipnote that's made by you. yes. people could say that you stole this because your on the popular list. but sometimes they that because someone already thought about that idea already. so he posted that before you came with that idea.
yes, this is sort of like using the bulletin boards. the rules on here is, if you see a thread that say, what's your favorite game? and you made a thread like that. i can't say you stole it. but it's a dump thread. so it's best if you view the spin-offs and make sure no one stole your idea. yes. i spin-off a lot. but now it's time for me to just make flipnotes by me. it's okay if you spin-off. just make sure you look through the spin-offs before posting yours.
