Maybe it's time to use SSL? Chrome is giving me a hazard triangle warning and it's a bit of an eyesore. There are free ones I think.

not to mention it's costly

i don't think it's absolutely necessary to use ssl, there hasn't been any issues without it in the past
we should just do a psa warning users to use strong passwords, and ones that are not used elsewhere, and avoid open networks
following these simple guidelines should make things relatively secure without the need of ssl certificates

Update: I just found that it’s possible to get organization-wide SSL certs for $360/year. That would cover all the websites at once. I will consider adding it, since that’s much more reasonably-priced.

We had SSL set up on the server for the SDK Paint and SDK Spriter to interface with the Wii U. Since the certificate has expired, it’s possible that Chrome is detecting that it exists on the server but is invalid. Are you trying to access the website with https:// or http://? The former will definitely give an error. The latter may give a warning. I’d set up SSL again, but it costs about $350/year for each domain name, so that’s beyond the budget right now.
