Yeah that honestly sounds pretty accurate, I was a bit disappointed when I first played Zelda 2 (I'm fairly sure that was the first one I ever played, although a link between worlds may have been before that) because the map was kinda weird and somewhat of a "congratulations on getting to this place. Too bad you need a candle from across the map." Kind of game

Minish cap, Zelda one two (all except minish cap on Wii virtual console) botw obviously, there was one on the 3ds that I don't remember the name of where you can turn into a painting on the wall and move around kinda like a 2d Mario game, MAYBE at some point COULD HAVE played skyward sword but don't hold me to that, I play ocarina of time and Majora's mask, and I think that's it. (I've finished none of them by the way if that explains why I said I wish I could enjoy them more.) Legend of Zelda is like the same kinda deal as pokemon where I like collecting the cards but when I actually try to enjoy the game I feel like I've over hyped myself and it doesn't hit the same

I've noticed a few things in your profile that have piqued my interest

Namely Legend of Zelda and needing to ask for your switch friend code, which I wouldn't mind having if that's fine with you. I've been playing botw for about a week and a half, maybe two, and (as somebody who wishes they can enjoy legend of Zelda more,) it's an awesome game. Sorry for the Ted talk lmao
