Here's a few versions told by many people:
-I wrote the numbers 1 through 30 on pieces of paper, then dropped thm in a hat. I then reached into the at and pulled out a slip of paper with 21 written on it.
-When 10 and 11 loved each other very much, they went to their room a- never mind. o-o
-An elf told me.

Peanuts=gross.
Walnuts=meh.
Almonds=only good in pistachio almond ice cream.
Pecans=to die for.
Pistachios=same answer as pecans.
And any other nut you can think of is gross.
