Needs more Azumarill. That's stuff of nightmares for Luis.

Also, a burned Swellow can counter his Venusaur.

Seriously? Azumarill?
Azumarill IS a great choice against Grass-types (because of Sap Sipper HA), but I would've thought his Venusaur would at least know Sludge Bomb or something, given that it's a Grass/Poison-type.

If his Mega Venusaur can't even take an Azumarill, that's pretty lame, IMO.

And of course, I just have to mention that while I don't actually mention Azumarill in the blog, it IS in the Picture on the left.

The whole azumarill thing is a joke, noway I'd lose against one nowadays unless the other guy was just lucky

She just said these kinds of things to make fun of me because she swept me with one when i was new at the game aaaaa D:

I see.
Kinda like how my sister's afraid of Sharks just because of how I obliterated her with my Garchomp, lol!
(JK about her being scared of Sharks, although I DID wipe out her whole Team with my Garchomp, multiple times.)

That is a good one.
Particularly if you pair it with a HA Politoed in a Double of Triple.

Lol! I seriously doubt that!
(I know your Venusaur probably knows Outrage or something. Or maybe you're saying that because of Sleep Powder. Either way, it has to be able to survive 1 Flying-type Giga Impact from my Mega Salamence, lol!)

As for countering Mega Venusaur with an all Water Team, basically it's just a matter of getting around Mega Venusaur's Thick Fat Ability.

Mega Gyarados has Mold Breaker, so an Ice Fang from it should work fine, but in most cases, you'd need to use a Flying or Psychic move, like the following Pokémon+Move combos:

Gyarados+Bounce (Or better yet: Gyarados+Supersonic Skystrike.)

Mega Sharpedo+Psychic Fangs

Bruxish+Psychic Fangs

Starmie+Psychic/Psyshock

Pelipper+Hurricane

Mantine+Air Slash

Empoleon+Drill Peck (not the strongest, but it'd work OK.)

Slowbro/Slowking+Psychic/Psyshock (These are risky, due to their low Speed.)

There's probably others that would work as well, but if Mega Venusaur is that big of a problem, you could always bring a Dragonite, or a Lugia, or something, and use the excuse "at least it's an Aquatic Pokémon", lol!

Okay but what if luis had a stall Venasaur with synthesis + sleep powder etc. you've set up rain which boosts his synthesis. mega Venasaur is fast af boii xddd leaf storm ez game. Then switch, etc

Rain WEAKENS Synthesis, not strengthens it.
Basically, the way I would handle it (with an all Water Team, anyway) would be either Gyarados+Supersonic Skystrike, Mega Gyarados+Ice Fang, Mega Sharpedo+Psychic Fangs, or Bruxish+Psychic Fangs.

Any of those should either take it out, or severely injure it, making it easy to finish off with a regular Ice-type move.

Wait seriously, i thought rain weakens moonlight only, it doesn't work like that in real life biology for plants wtf xD

It may not be realistic, but the logic is simple enough:
Rain Clouds block Sunlight.
Photosynthesis requires Sunlight.
Avatar Finrod

In reply to Draconid_Jo
The logic is flawed because synthesis ALSO requires water. Lmao. I thought it would be neutral at least but game logic lol.

Yep, lol! Game Logic!

And look, I'm serious about not hating you.
The only Pokémon Players I'm even capable of hating are all those Zinnia-Haters and Clair-Haters.

I might find you annoying at times, but you're cool in my book.

There a lots of Type-matchup charts out there, on sites like Serebii and Bulbapedia, as well as in most Pokémon Strategy Guides. I'd DEFINITELY recommend trying to memorize them.
(Make sure you look at current ones, however. Older ones don't have Fairy-type on them.)

As for a Yache Berry, it halves the damage of a single Super Effective Ice-type move used against the Pokémon holding it.
There are many similar Berries that reduce the damage from other types of Super Effective moves as well.
(1 for each type, as well as one the cuts the damage of a non-Super Effective Normal-type move in half.)
