I first used 3DS paint in the summer of 2013. I was 14 years old and it was the summer before my Freshman year of High School. I had dabbled with HTML a little when I was bored, but this site gave me motivation to dabble more. I was constantly changing my profile. Given the way that on the 3DS you couldn't look at more than one site at once, I would write down HTML codes so that I would be able to my profile, blogs, and groups to use them. This experience inspired me to explore coding more as a teenager and get more into it. Eventually leading to me studying computer science when I went on to University. Now I work as a software dev currently doing front in software development using angular and typescript.
I would like to thank HullBreach for creating this website and community. It was one of my first experiences with communities online. It was more conductive and supportive than other websites I could have had as my first. I made my first internet friends on this site before making many more in other places as time went on.
How have things changed? A lot. I'm a completely different person than I was when I used this website. It's been 9 and a half years since I created this account. I guess the easiest one is I no longer go by Lizzie or Elizabeth. Stupid of me to make my online username my actual name when I would eventually decide I want to change my name. I'm still a nerd with too much time on my hands. I still love Nintendo. I'm not quite as obsessed with pokemon, but I do plan on getting the remake of diamond come later this month.
