Sirens screech down through the street. Joshua Relic sits on the sidelines as another criminal is being chased. He roams the streets looking for hope...and finds nothing, but just as he is about to give up he remembers a note Mathew Kade gave him. It read:
Oklahoma City PD
Detectives needed.
So Josh gathered up what little he had and traveled to Oklahoma City.

When he arrived he was greeted by his old friend Matt Kade, and they met at the café. "Well I see you finally read the card!" said Matt "Yeah I probably should have read it sooner." said Josh "So are you interested in the job?" asked Matt "I have nothing else to do. So yeah." said Josh "Well meet me here at 8:30 AM sharp. Then we'll see if your fit to join the police.

Josh got the job, and all crime in the area finally came to a halt. So Josh settled down and adopted two little girls, Hailey and Mary.
Josh finally overcame his past grief so he could focus on caring for his daughters.

After a year Josh was ready to retire, but disaster struck his apartment caught fire...only he could escape. He lost the two things most dear to him.
But he finally noticed a pattern in the crimes, they were all set up for him, he had to find out who did this.

Josh searched everywhere until he came across the man who commited the crimes. He confronted him "You! You are the one!" he shouted "Well it's about time you found out..." the man continued "It was me the whole time..." Josh interrupted Wait why are you just confessing like that?" the man explained further "Oh I know you won't live to tell anyone. So no reason to hide it anymore."
"Your under arrest!" Josh said "I think not!" said the man. Then the man dropped marbles everywhere, Josh looked on in confusion, and then they burst out load sonic booms. Josh fell to the ground grasping his ears and yelling.

Mathew found him the next day, almost lifeless. He brought him to his house and helped him recover. "Josh it's about time you get rid of that man" Matt said "Matt you know he has some sort of equipment that I can't deal with." said Josh "You know the old saying 'fight fire with fire." said Matt smirking "What do you mean?" asked Josh "I can train you to resist the pain and develop immunity to his sonic bursts." said Matt "How?" asked Josh again "I have a machine that will blast you and slowly increase the power until you are stronger." said Matt "Alright lets get this criminal." said Josh.

They started the machine and it went well at first, but as the machine was about to finish it locked up and went haywire. Josh was infused with sonic energy and increased his strength, speed, agility, and endurance.

Josh didn't care though. He knew just what he wanted to do...get justice for what happened to his daughters...and his first love.
