Everytime I look in the mirror, I see a small child.
She reminds me of when I was young.
She reminds me of when I was free.
She reminds me of when I trusted everyone.
I tilt my head, she tilts her head to copy.
I look down, but she looks up to be silly.
I giggle, and she giggles too.
Maybe she and I are the same after all.
I frown, and she looks confused.
Her innocent smile piercing my heart like an arrow.
She reminds me of when I was loved.
She reminds me of when I was happy.
Her hair is longer than mine.
Her body has never been exposed, nor ruined.
She was as pure as she could be.
Quite the opposite of her older me.
I put my hand on the mirror, and she reaches.
A tear falls down my face as i laugh once more.
She smiles at me.
I smile back.
