It should be them WANTING to give their money not the government seizing their money.
It's not the purpose of life, but you need to work to survive. For those who don't wish to work, too bad they need to grow up.
The reason the Ukrainians are fighting is to stay free from Russia, kinda shows you how bad Russia is, huh? I also agree that they should stop the war and give Ukraine their land back.
Also, let's try to keep this debate civil.
You were just talking about helping the poor now you want products to be more expensive, don't get me wrong I want everything to be made domestically but it would be more expensive.
By dictates I meant dictate profit. And I do know what I'm talking about thank you.
I can tell you one thing Jill stein wouldn't have won as she only got 600k votes.
Genesis 8:22
While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”
"incapable" XD
You actually think Russia has good weapons???
North Korea murders people everyday. You don't have to listen to media to know that man, come on.
Not against the USSR, but against Jill Stein and for freedom.
The US doesn't have anything even close to that. If Donald Trump is insane enough to continue Genocide Joe's ridiculous, warmongering policies towards Russia (and I pray that he is not), then the Russians will kick our asses.
(We can only win against the Russians by using nukes, and everyone has known that since the Cold War, as well as that it'd be [A= https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mutual_assured_destruction]mutually assured destruction[/A].)

It's because most of our media lies constantly (they said there were no terrorists in Syria while RT was exposing the US arming and training them to overthrow Assad), and I'm too lazy ATM to look for an unbiased source.
(Just listen to Trump though. He knows what war with Russia would truly mean.)

That's all nice and all, but the Oreshnik missiles are far more important than any of that, as well as their advanced missile defense systems.
In the simplest of terms, they have weapons (the Oreshnik) that we have no way of defending against, as well as defenses (meaning air defense) that we have no way of penetrating. If you can show me a US soldier or tank that can withstand a hypersonic missile with a nuclear payload, please let me know.
(The Russians know what they are doing, which is why we have spent the past 2 decades picking on weak Middle Eastern countries like Iraq and Libya instead of attacking them.)

OK, here's a question for you: how much Ukrainian territory is held by Russia compared to how much Russian territory is held by Ukraine?
Also, the Russians recently launched a number of missiles at Kiev (the Ukrainian capitol), and this is far from the first time. How many missiles has Ukraine launched at Moscow throughout the entirety of this war?
(The answer is 0, because the Ukrainians know that Kiev would be reduced to a pile of rubble if they tried to, lol!)

Ukraine is trying to defend not conquer.

The key word there is trying. And since Russia can seemingly strike their capitol with impunity and they've yet to reclaim the any of the 5 territories taken by Russia, I'd say it's safe to say that they are failing.
(Which is why hopefully Trump will try to salvage this mess through diplomacy, instead of doubling down on Genocide Joe's stupidity.)

The only solution is to give Ukraine their land back otherwise Ukraine will keep defending their land and people.

That was the solution before the people of those regions voted to join Russia. Too many people in those regions have been killed by neo-Nazis and other genocidal racists from western Ukraine. If you don't believe me, ask my friend @MrPwong here on Paint, who is himself a Ukrainian, and has a far greater understanding of both the history of his people and the current conflict than either of us.
Zelinsky holds onto power in his country like a dictator. There were supposed to be elections held in Ukraine quite some time ago, but Zelinsky delayed them using the war with Russia as an excuse, while his thugs go around literally snatching young men from their mothers arms to send them out to die on the battlefield. What we are witnessing is the death of Ukraine, and the only way to prevent this (aside from thermonuclear war) is to make peace with the Russians. That means recognizing the 5 regions as part of Russia, Ukraine not being allowed to join NATO, and the denazification of Ukraine, among other things.
We could go back and forth about this forever, but just watch what happens. Ukraine cannot win this war, and quite frankly, they never could. The only question is whether or not the West is willing to gracefully accept defeat, or whether we would rather risk WWIII just to keep our empire from falling apart.

What would you say if more people voted to join the Republic of Texas instead of the US?

I'd say more power to them. It is my understanding that Texans are generally quite conservative, and (unlike myself) may take issue with our nation's increasingly liberal and/or progressive policies with regards to certain social issues.
(Such as 2SLGBTQIA+ rights.)
Better that they form their own country where they can live how they like rather than force us Americans to live how they like.
(I think that it's best for all those involved.)

But the Us would still go to war with us. Many people around here fly the Republic of Texas' flag.

I think that it would be a completely stupid decision to go to war with the Republic of Texas, unless the Republic of Texas showed signs of hostility towards the US, and/or seemed to be aligning itself with 1 or more hostile foreign powers.
(The way Ukraine wound up aligning itself with NATO following various “color revolutions” after they broke off from the USSR and Russia.)

Retaining power while in war is a common practice.

IK that, and so does Zelinsky, but this creates an obvious incentive for him to continue the war, even if it's not what is best for his country or its people.
