Whenever I try to reconnect my switch to an Internet connection, it connects to the network device, sits for a long time on connecting to the actual internet, then fails to connect.
I've tried 3 separate connections, one to a router, and two different hotspots. For each connection, I was able to use the internet just fine for about an hour, then it disconnected, and wouldn't reconnect. I've been all over the internet trying to find solutions, and have yet to find anything that works.
I've tried changing to the Google DNS, hard restarting both the switch, and both hotspots (I don't have the option the restart the router, it isn't mine), I've taken the connections off the switch and put them back on, and nothing has worked.
I seriously have no idea what the problem is I just wanna play fortnite bro

WEP, WPA, WPA2, and the latest WPA3 are the four types of wireless network security protocols, each with increasing levels of security. While WPA2, which uses AES encryption, is commonly used, WPA3 provides additional security features such as stronger encryption and attack defense.

Nintendo Switches have weird issues like that
Try restarting the switch, use a 2.4GHz connection (NOT 5G), try a wired connection and wireless connection, check your internet speed
If those do not work, try getting it repaired, if it still does not work, then your Nintendo Switch may not play well with your Router
I have a Nintendo Switch and never encountered this issue once
