Here to say I agree with the decision to not feature. I would have too if i got to it first. It seems more to be just niche jokes appealing to a micro-community. To me it really reads more like a chat log between a few people. Not that that's something bad or anything, but it really doesn't seem like something that necessarily needs a featured blog to put spotlight on it.

In all honesty, I think the problem is just consideration of the audience. This is really niche/specific and doesn’t seem like it’s meant to appeal to a wider crowd, as blogs are “supposed” to. This is just a compilation of “funny” text exchanges among friends, in context for them, but out of context for the general audiences, which makes it painfully unfunny and unenjoyable as content. Some of these lines aren’t even jokes man, am I supposed to laugh at “hi” “HII!!! :3””hi” “omg slay?”

Which circles back to Zoey’s blog. It’s not about the content of the blog, it’s about who it’s for. One is a clear attempt to engaging an audience with stupid shit that is easy to be considered “funny” by a large group of people. This blog just references the same 7 people with jokes only those same 7 people know. (Not calling your blog stupid at all Zoey, just referring to the “brain rot” humor)

I made this into a blog because, i was hoping my friends here could remember how much fun we all used to have, and to remember these fun memories so we can be more active here on paint. Featuring it really wouldn’t have hurted anyone, it was just gonna make my friends have fun rereading these fun moments we had. I really don’t see the problem. But your choice sir, if you didnt feature it, its fine that way.

With all due respect, that’s the reason why I suggested a profile page, that way it’s pinned to your profile and not buried by other blogs. A collection of copy and pasted inside jokes isn’t exactly something that needs to be featured. It’s nothing against any of yall it’s just how the standards are now.

It already was in my profile this whole time, besides i can’t really do anything about it anymore cuz ya’ll keep arguing and making drama in paint which is one reason i’m not being active here. Blogs keep coming and going and what’s wrong with it for being featured? Whoever is having problems can just ignore the blog and let the rest enjoy it. Blogs isn’t really meant to be read by “everyone”. Plus this blog was meant for the recent members here. One second its gonna be featured and the next- everyone is going to forget about it overtime, i really dont know why all of you guys are making such a big deal in a single blog that was just a copy paste from my profile-

Copy pasted straight from the blog featured guidelines you can access from the featured blogs page. They very much are meant to appeal to a larger number of the people rather than a select few.

All the more reason for it not to be needed in blogs. Your answer is in your question. You misunderstand the whole point of the featured list, because that IS the point. Featured blogs ARE meant to be seen by everyone, that’s why they’re featured. That’s how it’s been for all of paints history, and it’ll be the case for years to come.

I’ll reiterate. Copy and pasting random quotes and inside jokes into a blog (especially when they’re already in a profile page) is not something that needs to be featured. I don’t see why this is so hard to understand. Accept the decision and stop fighting about it. You’re getting nowhere.
