Unlike the animated series—which, though drawing much inspiration from the games, does not follow them exactly—Pokémon Adventures is a mostly game-based manga, with the twenty-five main characters taking their names from the core series games and their various adventures tending to stay restricted to their home region. While the animated series initially indicated the dangers of catching a Legendary or Mythical Pokémon, the main characters of Pokémon Adventures have more frequently captured and used their own legends, much as the player can in the games, whereas the characters in the animated series have only caught such Pokémon on rare occasions. Pokémon Adventures also contains darker elements than other media, including more frequent depictions of certain characters and some Pokémon dying.
According to an interview with Shigeru Ohmori in the June 2015 issue of Nintendo Dream, Aster was a person with special powers who held the position of Lorekeeper before Zinnia, much like Aster in Pokémon Adventures.
Zinnia's Grannie: The true Lorekeeper of the current generation is the one called Zinnia.
Zinnia: I… We… We can protect this world…and the other.
Steven Stone: Who exactly is "we"? What are your intentions?
The "we" that Zinnia is referring to here is herself and the previous Lorekeeper Aster (not to be confused with Zinnia's Whismur Aster, whom she named after her), but she is a subject for another blog.
Zinnia: I spent a long time thinking about how I could protect the happiness of as many people as possible. What I must do, as one who holds both the knowledge and the power… One who bears the heavy wishes of those who could not…live up to that fate…
Zinnia: Oh, oh, what's this? Aren't you a happy girl, Aster? ♪ Just what I'd expect of my daughter! We're so in sync! Ahahaha!
Steven: Joashu◇☃☀★J4! Now is our chance! Take the dimensional shifter and—
Aster: Mumumurrr!
Courtney: Huh?!
Aster snatched the dimensional shifter away from Courtney!
Steven: That Pokémon... Doesn’t it belong to...
Zinnia: Nice one, Aster!

Brendan/May refers to Zinnia as a woman, while a Team Magma Grunt (OR)/Team Aqua Grunt (AS) implies that she is a teenager. Her exact age is unknown.

Brendan: Everything happened so fast that I couldn't do a thing, but... Some strange woman came in my window, upstairs...
May: It all happened so fast that I couldn't do a thing, but... Some strange woman came in my window, upstairs...
Team Magma Grunt: What's going on with you and that girl from earlier? I know teenagers can feel frustrated, but that's no reason to go wrecking other people's hideouts. What’s that? You’re not together? Sorry about that.
Team Aqua Grunt: What’s going on with you and that girl from earlier? Teenagers are old enough to know the difference between right and wrong! You can’t go trashing somebody’s hideout on impulse! Huh? That wasn’t you?! S-sorry about that. I apologize.

A Team Magma Grunt (OR)/Team Aqua Grunt (AS) implies Zinnia is a teenager. Her exact age is unknown.

I do consider that the best potential evidence against Zinnia having had a daughter. Long story short, though, there's some evidence for and against it, but nothing really conclusive.
...The whole line also implies the player character is a teenager, which is pretty weird considering that, according to Bulbapedia, Brendan and May are 12-years old.
Steven: Who was that woman? And the way she spoke to us... It’s almost as if she came here for some kind of confirmation...
Steven: Ah, Professor, forgive me. I believe you were trying to tell us something before that woman interrupted us?
Steven: So it was true... As I had suspected, that woman who appeared at the Space Center was one of the Draconids...
Team Magma Grunt: A woman with a Whismur is...inside..
Team Aqua Grunt: A woman with a Whismur is...inside...
Maxie: Grr... The great Maxie has fallen to this woman?!
Maxie: Woman... Who are you?
Maxie: That woman... She had such utter mastery over her Dragon-type Pokémon. There is more to her than meets the eye.
Maxie: That woman... She said that the former Champion would know what she was about. I assume you of all people should know where to find him, but...?
Archie: That woman... I don’t think she’s just any old Trainer. Not with the way she controlled those Dragon-type Pokémon of hers...
Steven: Ah... That’s it. That woman... That “Zinnia”... She mentioned the Sky Pillar. Few can enter it—only the successors of the ancient world, who know of what has been... The Lorekeepers who are tasked with passing on that knowledge to those who come after...
Steven: That woman...Zinnia... I cannot put my faith in her. We will think of a new way to stop the meteoroid on our own.
Wallace: Only the ancient Draconid people know how to summon Rayquaza to the Sky Pillar. Steven has told me of the woman Zinnia. She must be trying to revive Rayquaza for some purpose.
Team Magma Grunt: Black bob hair... Actually, she’s my type.
Team Aqua Grunt: Black bob hair... Actually, she’s my type.
Zinnia: Ever since I was a little girl, I have always turned my eyes up to the sky. When I was so full of uncertainty that I felt my heart might be crushed by it... When I was so grief-stricken and alone I thought my heart might break of it... I turned and looked up there... so that my tears would never, ever fall. What about you? Have you ever had to do something like that?
Joashu◇☃☀★J4: I have.
Zinnia: Right...
Zinnia: ... I used to watch the stars like this all the time... Together with Aster. We were always together. In good times and in bad. I loved her. I loved her with everything I had... But I still lost her.
Zinnia: ... Hahaha... ... I want to see her... I want to be with her again... My sweet Aster...
Zinnia: I will, won't I? With this... Just a little longer...
Couples wedding in the Latin Church of the Catholic Church essentially make the same pledge to one another. According to the Rite of Marriage (#25) the customary text in English is:
“I, ____, take you, ____, to be my (husband/wife). I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honour you all the days of my life.
A Secret Base in a cave that’s said to have been a dwelling for people long ago.
A Secret Base in a cave that’s said to have long ago been the den of Pokémon that lived with people.
A Secret Base in a cave that’s said to have been lived in by a chief from a village long ago.
I looked to the sky
And never knew
When all my tears would finally dry
Down would come the rain
And with a crash
There never would be light again
But I'd give my life
So that this world need never cry
Our savior released
So the departed can find peace
