Yet change is something I crave for
Change is scary yes I know,
But change is something that makes us grow
From something you were to something you couldn’t do
To something you are to something you’re meant to do
Dont regret your past for it has shaped your present
That single mistake has brought you to where you are today
That single decision, that single act of kindness, that single act of selfishness.
Don’t be scared of the future
For it holds treasures and mysteries and special people
Which some will come and go, while some will stay forever.
But each of them teaches you a lesson
Hold onto the memories, hold onto keepsakes
Hold onto me and hold onto them
Hold onto your life hold onto your smile
Hold onto them, even if it was bad or good
Hold onto them for it was time to see through
Don’t ever let go, don’t ever fear change
Don’t ever be discouraged by the things that people say
It’s all in your head, and it’s all okay
Keep on believing that it will all be worth it one day
I am here for you though the storm, through the chaos
Through a life that seems like it stopped
But trust me you’ll see the sunlight, and feel the warmth
See the beauty through your crazy hopeless thoughts
