Shows blood and is just kinda creepy in general, to the point that it would almost certainly frighten or disturb younger children. It should at least be rated T IMO, maybe M.



Images showing alcohol, drug, and/or tobacco use should automatically be rated T IMO. I can't think of any reason why they should be considered appropriate for a 6-12 year old to see, which is what an E rating would imply.
(T is for 13 and older, BTW.)



Although obviously meant to be humorous, it mentions a private part of a person's body and is joking about something that is incredibly dangerous--despite discouraging doing it. It should at least be T-rated as well IMO.

Although this image upload sparked discussion amongst some of the admins here, if you were to show it to, say, a 6 year old, the innuendo in it would likely go completely over there heads, just like most of the adult humor in Spongebob Squarepants and similar series. Regardless, it seems to me that a T-rating would be appropriate here IMO.



Bikinis are one of those controversial subjects. On the one hand, characters wearing them are commonly shown in E-rated games like Pokémon--on female Swimmers, like the one I showed in this blog--but on the other hand, they are undeniably rather revealing. Still, since they are shown in E-rated video games and are also allowed to be worn at regular beaches where children are permitted in countries like the US, I see no reason to rate an image like this any higher than T, unless there are other elements present that would actually warrant that.



This image upload of mine stirred up a great deal of controversy and was deleted numerous times in the past, despite obviously being less revealing than the previous image of an anime character in a bikini. Regardless, a T-rating seems perfectly reasonable to me here as well.



Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt is an anime series that contains all sorts of things that would be completely inappropriate to allow here on Paint, but the same goes for Family Guy, Helluva Boss, Grand Theft Auto, Diablo, and countless other TV and game series that are allowed to be mentioned and discussed here, and that people have uploaded images related to here as well.

As for the image itself, the name of the series being in the image alone would warrant a T-rating here IMO, as would Panty and Stocking raising their middle fingers in it--which is basically equivalent to saying the F-word. All things considered, I'd say that an M-rating would probably be appropriate here, despite the image not containing any violent or sexual content.



Another image related to Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt, but in this case it's a meme with a catchphrase from the show. The use of the F-word automatically bumps the image up to a T-rating IMO, and given the aggressive and somewhat controversial nature in which it is used here, an M rating would probably be appropriate here as well, similar to the previous image.
(To be clear here, however, I wouldn't necessarily say that all images related to the show need to be M-rated, though.)



A political statement featuring the same profanity shown in the previous image. Although teenagers are basically excluded from the political process in this (and most other) country, I don't consider political content in and of itself to be “mature subject matter” in the same way that sex, graphic violence, substance use, or even profanity are. I think that a T-rating would be more than sufficient here.



This image upload and 2 other similar ones of mine were repeatedly deleted before, based on the erroneous assumption that abortion was too mature of a subject to allow discussion of here on Paint. That said, it should at least be T-rated, and this particular image would possibly warrant an M-rating simply for mentioning far right hate groups, despite the fact that the image is criticizing them.



Obviously, criticizing Israel has long been a taboo subject, with many people wrongly equating legitimate criticism of Israel with anti-Semitism. Anti-Semitism would be prohibited by Paint's terms of membership, whereas anti-Zionism--controversial or not--is not.

That said, mentioning war crimes and genocide is certainly enough to warrant an M-rating in an image or a blog IMO, unlike most other “political subjects” that I can think of.
(I think that most people who have seen or experienced these sorts of things firsthand would likely agree with me here, as well.)
