Hello everybody. There is yet another thing I want to point out to all of you.
My good friend, Holly aka "Twinkle987" almost left the site today because she is having issues of certain members making fun of her autism. As you all know by now, I have autism as well. I've been hiding it because I thought the same thing would happen to me as Holly. But if Holly can tell everybody about her autism, then so can I.

I made this blog to help make people understand this disorder. Being autistic means we have trouble with communication, socialization, emotion, and in severe cases, mobility. Me and Holly are very lucky we can even be on this site. We are lucky that we are not sitting in a wheelchair in a hospital all day doing nothing. We are lucky that we can walk and talk (and type).
Autism is very serious, but we don't like to be treated differently. We easily get upset when we are made fun of. Or called names. Me and Holly would really appreciate it if you treated us no different. In reality, we are very smart for our conditions. Autistic people can really move the world. Look at Einstein, he was autistic. They also say that Bill Gates was autistic, but it was never proved. Jim Carey has an autistic son. Don't believe me? Look it up.

So people, please don't make fun of us for being different. I'm not saying to bend over backwards for us either. Just don't treat us like we're different. We are pretty much the same. We have a gift, it just came with a price.

Here's some things Holly wanted to say in this blog:

Yes, some of you know i DID Leave the site for a few days, then came back because i missed you all. You see what i mean? I can't leave things i really like!
Me and Chuck are really lucky to have friends Who care about us.
I'm Just asking for friendship, not to hate on us. And we are NOT 3 Year olds because of this, its because its hard for us to cope with things.
Please Understand this."

autism doesnt mean your stupid, it means your brain was programed differently. Many autistic people see the world in an entirely differrnt way then non autistic people.

I have a RARE type of Autism called ASD(Autism Sprectum Disorder) and people annoy me all the time! I get used to it, though. I'M NOT SAYING YOU CAN BOTHER ME! When I was nine, I wanted to badly hurt someone because they were bothering me with "Cap Guns" because their mom is stupid and let them get the Gunpowder/Metal Chunks kind. I have made a site about Autism but that made mt-y problem worse. Oh, COMMANDER is that avatar off DSiHub? I drew that.

Nintendo just ticked me off. I have ADHD and I actually do think its a gift because I have many many friends that are my friends because I have ADHD. They think I have alot of energy and to them I am fun to be around because of ADHD. I also have some autsim and I think its a gift also. All you people that think that people that have autsim shoudnt think of it as a gift , you are wrong. Autistic people are actually really smart.

First your saying to not treat it as a gift, now it's "don't use it as a crutch"? Make up your mind. In my eyes, it's a gift. And I'm tired of you naming this blog look like we're complaining. And I'm not using this as a crutch either. In fact, I was keeping it hidden. Now, just leave us alone.

I think it's terrible how ppl take other's weaknesses & issues & use them to make them feel bad. It's wrong. You r know different then any of us WITHOUT autism. My nephew might have Autism. He's 20 months old, & the Dr's are concerned bc he is showing early signs of autism they say. But both of you have my support & defense.

I'm... touched. I have autisim as well. Now that I think about it... I'm glad I'm not one of those people who can't do those things everyday. And I'm glad I have other people who understand. This blog made my day.

I didn't know you had Autism either!

It seems people make fun of or bully others because they may be afraid of something, in their veiw, as being different. :/

But, you can walk, talk, read, write, and even come and chat on a site like this, thats a wonderful thing, and I'm glad you're here!
