Continuing with Lancelot Returns boss fight. When Lancelot uses chaos spear, you can either defend and get soul gauge increased, or attack him after he launches the first one. If you try to use soul surge on him when he is not using chaos spear, he will hurt you with a small chaos blast. Eventually, he will swing his sword 4 times and use soul surge right after that. Also, the amount of chaos spears will double, and double again. (That is twelve chaos spears!) Repeat this whole process until he goes down. My record is 1:56 seconds. That is five stars!
Tip #5: Chest items.
There are some items that can only be gotten from a chest or from townspeople. (example- lanturns can only be found in a chest in the knight's passage hidden fairy level) Items are also unique by location. The wavestone can only be found in the misty lake goal mission. The dragon eye stone can only be found in the dragon's lair ring chain mission.
Tip #6: Thou who has doneth acts of chivelry will get great rewards in return for thy good deed.
Throughout the game, you will see townspeople with a ••• over their heads. Simply walk up to them to communicate. If you press the right buttons, you will give that townsperson 20 rings. In return, you will get a gift back. If its a chivelry mission, you will not get a gift back.
Tip #7: This is not Shadow the Hedgehog, or anything like the game.
Townspeople are your friends, not enemies. If you swing your sword by a townsperson, you will harm it. It will then run away from you. If you hurt too many townspeople, you will get the dishonorable title known as the despised one. It gives you a bad reputation. Its not like shadow the hedgehog where you can kill humans and robots and get points.
Tip #8: Legacy Stages
Legacy stages are stages that have old fashioned obstacles like springs, robots, and rings. They are very short stages. Some of the legacy stages have 1 of the 7 world rings. You can also get the exclusive item called the Medal of Sonic.
