Custom Robo is a very fun game that involves you becoming a bounty hunter and working for Steel Hearts. You get your own robo that is about a foot tall, and it has guns, bombs, pods, legs, and robo bodies. Here are some tips to help you be a Robo Master!

Tip #1: Harry's advice will help you, even if you think it won't.
Harry is your partner who gives advice before a battle, and sometimes he will help you by fighting along side you in a robo battle. Sometimes, you want to get a battle over with, so you just skip through Harry's advice. If you do that and don't know the controls well, there is a 20% increase of chance that you will lose a battle! Just listen to Harry's advice, and you should do fine.

Tip #2: Try to choose a variety of parts.
All parts have different effects. Don't just choose the most powerful parts when battling. Try to think which parts would best counter your foe's robo strategy. First, check out your foe's parts, then customize your robo to counter your foe. A good robo customization that I used often was Metal Ape, 3-Way Gun, Delta Bomb, Twin Flank Pod F, and Formula Legs. Here is why this is a good customization. The Metal Ape is in the Metal Grappler Group. Metal Grapplers are very slow, but have high defense and endurance. The 3-Way Gun isn't very powerful, but it is easy to hit your foe with, it reloads fast, and it shoots 15 rounds, making it hard to dodge. The Delta Bomb splits into tree seperate bombs and explodes in a triangle shape, trapping your foe. The Twin Flank Pod F shoots two pods that have a good blast range. The Formula Legs make up for the Metal Ape's speed. Formula Legs make a robo go a lot faster, so my Metal Ape will now be able to dodge better than it could before.

Tip #3: Foes with Illegal Parts.
Throughout the game, you will see that some foes have weird looking parts. If a "!" appears by the part name, it is illegal. These parts are a bunch stronger than normal parts. You will be able to get illegal parts in Grand Battle Mode, which is unlocked by beating storymode for the first time. You will see more foes with illegal parts more towards the end of storymode.
