The Nintendo3DS is the handheld video game being developed by nintendo, and it'll probably be the first of alot of glasses-free 3D devices, but this technology has a price, and today 29 sep 2010, nintendo announced at Bloomberg Jap the 3DS Price and release date, check out!

Link @ i skiped school because of it o.e i had to stay awake t'ill 03:36AM arround here, arround 1:30 hour after they reveale the news in japan someone posted on a american site, i found it and re-posted it here, (that news had 10 minutes)
I already know I'm getting me one. I've got enough to play for one xD 2 almst 0.o And that's not including the hefty amout I've got stored away for college xD But obviously, that's going towards collge :-p
has anyone seen the 3ds video which shows a lady walking around doing stuff while showing some features.I like the part about when it shows 3D pictures and it shows the lady and her friends playing around with it.that was awsome
They talked about online and miis. Miis will be automatically created by the camera looking at your face. Unfortunately, no word on an xbox live like experience but they will have stuff with connecting to other players online.
300 dollar is a pretty high price for the developer's country (and for a chinese production)
I am afraid nintendo finish up with the same problem sony had with the ps3 release (too much money for manufacturing and not enough ppl getting it because of the really high price)
Who knows....but i still have my doubts...since you cannot find this glasses-free technology anywhere
What about me?
Gladly i am saving enough money and i have my ways to get this device outside my country.
What if i had any ways to get it outside Brazil?
Maybe they could accept my left leg, or hand, or one of my eyes! ohWait..i can't sell those because i'll not be able to see 3D =/ ...
Do u know if the Brazilian gouvernment accept my soul in exchange of a 3DS?
Seriously..
I'll, laught off my (sorry ) ass when i see the release price here..it'll be freaking expensive
Gleeok - Actually, they outsource manufacturing to China. Japan has the highest corporate income tax rate in the world (With the USA a close 2nd), so it is cheaper to have the Chinese make the products.
o.e this will be not less than 1600R$ (Brazilian Real, the Brazilian Money)
1600R$ = 800~700 dollar
No, i am not going too far, the DSi was released here with the price of 1100R$
1100R$ = 500~600 dollar
hopefully i'll be getting my 3DS by myself at france next year, probably 1 or 2 months after its release, i am lucky..i wasn't looking to get it really AFTER the release, because of the games...
it'll be hard for me to get games so everytime i/my parents travel i'll be getting a large amount of games.
This time i am getting 6 to 10 games, and if i am able to save more money i am getting more games =]
Star Shadow @ Probably not, and probably more expensive i think, logically the Japanese price is the chepest because actually THEY developed the device and THEY are manofacturing (i dunnu if its the right word) / Making it.
And DSi's/XL/Lite are cheaper in japan than in any other country, logically the 3DS will follow the same way
Here are some goodies I saw at IGN in a Nintendo concept video (which is here: http://ds.ign.com/articles/112/1124158p1.html):
* Mii integration
* Automatically generate Miis from 3D photographs
* Charging dock
* Game interactions when in hibernate
* Menu doubles up channels into 2 rows
* Augmented reality apps using playing cards
