"Come on, Sonic! Wake up!"

"SONIC!!!!!"

"Wah!" Sonic woke up on the floor, shocked about Shadow waking him up. "Man, what happened?"

"You tripped over that metal bump over there..." Shadow says.

"Come on! We gotta get this Chaos Emerald out of here before..." Shadow stopped when the alarm went off.

"INTRUDER ALERT! INTRUDER ALERT! COMMENCING LOCKDOWN!"

"Oh man, we gotta get outta here!" Sonic says in panic.

"Less talking, more running!" Shadow breaks off running.

"Wait for me!" Sonic runs off after him.

After a few minutes, Sonic and Shadow hear the metal doors close.

"Lockdown complete! Now commencing self-destruct sequence!"

"Oh man, we're trapped! And this station is gonna blow!"

"Sonic, we were in the ship room! We can get to space from here!" Shadow seemed quite calm, actually.

"Okay!" Sonic and Shadow run to the ship. They get in, and take off for space.

They heard down below as they were going to space, "3... 2... 1... Good bye!" Then, they just heard a big boom.

"Thank goodness! We survived!" Sonic said in relief.

"Yea, but how are we gonna get back to earth? Were millions of miles away from it!" Shadow said.

Sonic and Shadow look out the window, and the earth was far away from them. Now they had to endure hours of space travel. It would be at least a year before they could get back to earth...
