Everybody knows sometimes our DSi's triggers or touchscreen presents some problems, rarely, i will list here some ways to fix issues with your DSi device, this may be helpful for who play too much or use the DSi frequently, everything is based on my experience, i have a DSi but feel free to try it with a DSi XL/ll, or DS Lite, but i don't know if it might work.
Triggers:
If you are having problems with a any of your "shoulder" buttons or known also as "triggers" it may be because of a deposit of dust inside, near the sensor, what you should do is put your mouth over the trigger and blow, it worked for me several times
Stylus:
Your stylus keep dropping from the compartment? thats because of too much use, what you should do is press and deform the stylus considerably, WATCH OUT don't deform it too much because it may break, the deformation isn't visible, and it doesn't change your stylus usage, it will just help to keep it inside the compartment.
Game card:
Your DSi isn't recognizing your game card? just press it a little (without taking it out) just a very little. see if it works, if it doesn't simply take it out and put it back, maybe blowing inside the card slot help (do not spit inside!)
Touchscreen:
the best way to calibrate your touchscreen is to touch the calibration tool with your stylus in the position you use it the most, it will recognize the position and you'll feel comfortable to the touchscreen and you won't have problems with it
@clairvoyance: It works for me, and several other people. It is really effective. I tried it AFTER I waited two weeks for Nintendo to fix the buttons... They're response was: No Problem Found... At least they fixed the Buttons...
Good to know, i've done most of these... Except for stylus, The little Nub-Thing on the top of the latch-side is worn-down... Also, On my Lego Star Wars II Game, someone's dog got it[and chewed it], so now, Spit ACTUALLY works!... Thanks for the Tips!
