Okay guys, there's a big problem spreading about. It's called HTML. Sure, it makes your blogs look cool, but, IT WILL NEVER BE FEATURED! If you think your blog is perfect for news, but is rejected, it's probly because you have HTML. For the newbies, HTML is stuff like:
button
font color=
h1, h2, h3, h4, h5

etc....

Another noobish thing is that people hit Enter a ton just to make their blog look longer. That's just EMBARASSING, guys. If you submit a blog, make sure it meets the blog standards.... Really, the standards are just having your blog have good grammer, to have it be pretty lengthy, and it's interesting.

So if your blog is rejected, don't think the admin who viewed it hates you, it's just that it isn't newsworthy.
