When I'm Dying

Lord, the pressure's comin' on,
my strength is givin' way,
my tears just won't stop comin',
I won't make it through this day!

My steps begin to falter,
and my vision is unsteady,
my hands just grope in darkness,
O God, I'm just not ready!

I know you gave this to me,
from your own special plan,
but Lord I don't think I can take it,
and my feet began ran.

I reached the edge of my mountain,
I reached the end of my rope,
I can't take it any longer,
I'm just runnin' outta hope.

But then a hand on my shoulder,
a voice says in my ear,
"Child why are you afraid?
You know I'm always hear."

I fell down on my knees,
and cried out with my voice,
"God i'm sorry I forgot you,
now I just don't have a choice!"

I closed my eyes and leaned,
but I didn't fall off the side,
cause I leaned into my Saviour,
and under his wings will I hide.

I saw the darkness fading,
I saw the morning light appear,
I cried my tears of joy,
and knew you were still near.

Lord I promise to this day,
that I always will know,
my God will never leave me,
and He'll never let me go.
