I sit on the swing, in the centre of the field, the place were I kissed Luke for the first time. A tear runs down my cheek just thinking about him. Roxay approaches me, shes one of my best friends. “Aw, sweetie! Are you okay?” she asks me.
“No! I broke up with Luke!” I cry.
“Aw! He's only a boy, there is plenty more fish in the sea!” she exclaims.
“But Luke was my fishie!” I reply. A gang of boys walk by, I know them all. Kori, Matthew and Colton. They see me crying and run over to me. Matthew picks me up and wipes my tears, “Katy!” Matthew shouts,
“Luke, dumped, me,” I stutter, “He thinks I'm too emotional”
“I'm here for you Kate.” says Kori
“And now your single, I can date you!” shouts Colton. I jump down and link arms with Matthew and Roxay. Colton and Kori find another girl who walks past. She was really pretty, and believe her name's Noah. I cuddle Matthew and holds Roxay's hand. “I miss Luke, do you think I'll find anyone better?” I ask
“Sure you will Kate, your an a amazing girl, your my idol for that. Your pretty, awesome, and a emo! What more could a dude want?” Roxay explains
“You can always date me!” exclaims Matthew.
I laugh, “Sure Mat, maybe one day, maybe one day!”
