I sit in the centre on the park. The sun blinding me, the daisies planted around me, like I was permanently stuck on the grass. My black satin skirt burns my thighs from the sun's rays, but it doesn't bother me. I slide my sunglasses over my eyes and watch the ice-cream van slowly drive by, the regular tune ringing in my ears. Out of my wondering, a tall, luxurious, handsome emo walks by. I gasp and stare at him, almost hypnotized. He walks over to me and says nicely, “Hello Love! I'm Adam, nice to meet you!”. I gasp, he had the most beautiful eyes that I've ever seen.
“The name's Katy, you, look, very nice today.” I reply with a big smile on my face.
“Can I buy you an ice-cream?” Adam asks as he helped me up off the grass and holds my hand.
“Sure, I'll pay!” I exclaim, I wanted my first impression to seem kind. “Okay,” I say, “I presume your single, I am, I was dumped last night.”
“Yeah, I'm single,” Adam replies, “But I don't think I will be for long”
