Hard for you to understand
Just how bad I really am
Cry at night from the pain
Suffer all day,

I try to keep it shut up
Suffer in my own silence
People just can't understand
Reflections sicken you
Self image hurts you

When I say I feel this way

I'm writing this because I know I'm not the only one here or in the world that deals with issues on self image. Every day I look in the mirror, I struggle, I even cry because the what I see, it sickens me. I stand there, stare at all the varius flaws I have. Lazy eye, obese, constantly chapped lips, bad skin, So many health issues. It's always been my downfall. It's why I've always been so unlucky in my relationships. I know others can relate. I'm told 'Just have more confidence' or even 'Just tell yourself you're beautiful' But, I just can't do that. I would truly be lying to myself by telling myself that & I cannot acquire something I do not have. I cry at night wishing some people could understand how I honestly feel about myself. But, my tears are always there the next time, for noone ever does quite understand the depth of my self-hate.
