factory stolen Nintendo [color=red]3[/color]DS leaks software information

As you should already know, a Nintendo 3DS device was stolen from the Chinese factory by a local Chinese worker, apparently it was stolen before getting the software read up, it es even missing its back faceplate...buuut....the hardware is there, and it leaked us some important information



This unfinished unit show us:

-A 1300 mAh battery (compared to the 1050 mAh battery in DSi XL, 840 mAh in standard DSi, 1000 mAh in DS Lite, and 850mAh in the DS Phat)

-96MB of RAM (possibly a portion made available to developers from a 128MB chip, so it is possibly 32mb for the operating system and 96mb for games)

I will leave here listed some consoles and other handhelds RAM, just to compare the 3DS capability.

DS - 4MB
DSi - 16MB
PS2 - 32MB
PSP-1000 - 32MB
GameCube- 24+16MB
PSP-2000 - 64MB
Xbox 64MB - (CPU, GPU)
Wii - 88MB
3DS - 96MB
PS3 - 256MB
360 - 512MB(CPU, GPU)

and this is because the 128mb chip wasn't confirmed yet.

DS handhelds stack! Yaho! ok srry, well, as you can see the 3DS is slightly SMALLER than a DS lite, even tough it has a bigger bottom screen and a bigger top widescreen. (the 3DS is the 2nd in this picture just after the gameboy micro)


Nintendo 3DS with other Nintendo systems, this unit has not received the software yet so.. no Menu yet.

Nintend will crush everybody in the gaming market once again.

Oh yeah, the xbox is the number one in consoles with The red ring, death ring or i don't know what.

XBOX 360 is the most fragile console , confirmed.

You guys are spoiled "I want one now!" come on now! Be happy with what you have! You know some children have nothing. Besides, the 3DS will probably be a huge technical failure and loss for Nintendo anyway. 3-D gaming with no glasses? When I stop liking soda!

yes, a china company do this.:They just stole Psp, xbox, ps3, pc, ds and more, and the price will be low. This is why I don't love China people

A lot of stuff is happening and the year just started. First, I heard that a 14 year old was killed by a bullet, then a couple of other cases and now a 3DS was stolen. I feel that this year will be worse than last year. I hope this year there are less crimes.

Approx. 15 hours? Hmm, on a Brand-New Battery for the DSi, you only get 12 on Low-Light, Vs. 17-19 on DS Lite. So this could be the first time the battery life's gone up in a little bit, because the XL had only 10 hours, I believe...

Yes, its battery will hold more raw electric charge, but the actual life will be shorter than the DS. Sensibly due to the custom graphics processor.

Not really, 1300 mAh is really a lot, even with this powerful hardware the battery can handle an approximated time of use to the DSi, and remember the DSi has a 840 mAh battery, weaker than the DS phat (the first ugly DS.)

Somehow they managed to save the battery force, even with a crappy battery, the DSi has a very good time of use.

i assume they did the same to the 3DS?

nothing to worry, at least 15 hours (low-light) battery we will have, and this is a pejorative expectation.

Nice. So, I'm assuming the bigger battery is only to compensate and make up for lost hours do to the Hardware being run... I believe we have shorter hours now...
