To start, it says in the bible that even Jesus does not know the exact time. So as ordinary people, how could we even know the year? let alone the exact date? So, I'll post some intresting stuff from the bible about this.
(I might as well explain this all in one blog =P)
So first of all the world will not end until everyone hears the word of god. (I'm not one to tell you your religion but I'm Christian so I'm going by what I belive.)
Isaiah 2:2 Says "The Last days Began with the first coming of Christ and will be completley fullfilled on his second comming."
Thats just the first example.
Next...I'll flip the bible to Revelations...
This is going to explain alot.
This is the true apocalyptic time. =O
When the time is near there will be signs, which, yes there are already.
But we have a long long time, still.
Signs: earthquakes,wars ect.
But remember, there are still billions of people who dont belive or dont know the word of God.
Well thats all my time I have fpr today.
People say the world is going to end on a specific date and that day comes and nothing happens. It happens a lot. My mother told me that before 2000, people said that the world was going to end on 2000. Millions of people commited suicide and when 2000 arrived, nothing happened. Also, I heard that in 2006, people said that the world was going to end in June 6 because the month is number 6, the day was 6, and the year was 2006. Because of the numbers 666 (the numbers of the Devil right?,) people said the world was going to end. That date arrived... and nothing happened. Now they say the world is going to end in 2012. I don't believe the world is going to end in 2012. It will be as usual. Nothing happens.
I don't care if something happens in 2012, i don't care if its lie, i don't care if its true, i don't care if will die virgin or not i don't care 100% about everything.
I believe something will happen on 2012, but I'm not saying I'm right. I'm really hoping I'm wrong. But, even if you think it's some stupid myth, although it could be, it's best to be prepared and nothing happens, rather than not being prepared and something does happen. After all, Nostodamus (spell check?) hasn't been wrong about his predictions so far.
I don't think the world will end, though. I more think of it as a refreshment, like Noah and the arc. The world will drastically change to the point where most people will not survive. But life will go on in a new way. Just not the same.
Like a new Ice Age.
