I was reading a HelpDesk question, something about admins playing favorites.

I'm going to paste my comment on this blog, and I'm going to say a few things.

"I have seen quite a bit of terminators playing "favorites" lately. I know I have banned someone a few times, and they end up unbanned because the terminator thinks the person "is cool and would never break the rules".
I'm telling you, it's turning into a political battle. You have the left side admins and the right side admins. Democrats and Republicans (I'm neither). Donkey (ass), and Elephants (pachyderm).

The thing is, this isn't supposed to be a political war, we are supposed to be one happy family.
I hate Obama. I hate him with a purple passion. But a few of my friends like him, and it changes nothing in the friendship. If we can just get along, things would be a lot easier.
The terminators should only unban when the admin who banned that member as come to an agreement.
Respect shouldn't be based on how many powers one admin has, it should be based on the kindness and respect in return.

When an admin bans you, don't panic. It's only 24 hour long. Go read a book or spend time with your family. A terminator is only for emergencies. I know if I become one someday, that's all I'll ever use it for.
If your friend gets banned, don't get involved. I know by experience that doesn't help. I'm going to try my best to not get involved anymore.

I realize I have been the cause of some of these situations. Lately, I have been having people cussing me out on Facebook messages and a few death-threats. I have also been going through a lot of stress these days. Mostly in real life. Is it depression? I don't know. Ive been more tired than usual, bloodshot eyes, very bad headaches and unstable moods. I've also noticed I've been falling a lot, and been feeling dizzy. I think it may be from all the stress I'm going through. I don't know, but I'm sorry my attitude has been off.

What I wanted to talk about is why the admins are being almost as bad as I am? They go on flaming new admins and de-grading new members by calling them "noobs".
I really honestly think that the newer admins are doing a better job than most of the older ones. The last few blog admins are doing an exelant job.
But we must remember, we are not "holier than thou", we are admins, we are role models, we set examples for younger members and keep the site clean. We are not royal, and the nomal members are not peasants.

Once again, I appologize for my behavior lately, and I don't mean to point fingers, but some of you have been pushing my buttons. Not just the admins, some are normal members.
