The suddenly expired insects and arachnids was strange, but we had to get to the meeting. We made our way through the various webbed tunnels and miraculously all the creatures were slain as we went. So we followed the trail of carcasses out of the cave.
As we emerged, a body was lieing at the mouth of the cave. It was covered in snow and the skin was a bit blue. I could tell the hair was dark and he lay face down in the snow. Reo went up to the body and turned him over. He splashed a hand full of snow on its face. The dark eyes opened and turned the same glowig blue as mine.
"Darin," I hissed. How was here? How was he alive? Did I not kill him?
"Why are you here?" Reo looked unimpressed and stared down at Darin.
Darin got to his feet and looked Reo straight in the eye, as if to chalenge him. "I awoke, and I remember a voice teling me to help you."
"How do we know you're not a traitor?" I looked him over, nothing seemed suspicious.
"I haven't killed you yet," Darin smiled the way he did when he was up to something. Reo punched him hard in the face and knocked him out. He caled his black war wolf and strapped Darin to the side. I called my great kodo. I had loved the kodos since my younger days in Mulgore.
We rode untill we came to a small encampment not far from the cave. Different demons, some in Draenei, Orc, or Blood Elf form, had set up tents and small fires. Some glared at Reo but did not attack. A look of wonder passed on some of their faces as we passed. The Demon Lords could not have been far, but we rode right throufgh the camp and into Dragon Blight.
Darin began to wake and Reo stopped. "Where are we?" asked Darin. He pulled a map from his pack
"Dragonblight," Reo muttered.
Darin looked up. He looked down at Darin's empty scabard. "Your sword is missing. And your immortality along with it."
Reo held out a hand. The ground crumbled beneath it and a large sword rose from the earth and into Reo's hand.
