- 5# Variated Noob hoster: This is a very pathetic type of Noob, they are non-skilled (most times Shotgunners too) and do EVERYTHING to try to beat people, like disabling the Radar, taking out autos, uingexplosives, 20 minutes matches, Team games with 5x1 players....these are really annoying.
- 6# 10 Years match: Another variation of noob hosters, these pick a flag match 35 points Free for all, well...i want to see who will finish a match like this since capturing a single flag may take 5 minutes or more, lolololol
- 7# Crouched for evertyhing: These are just funny, they get crouched for any reason, they are always crouched, they see an enemy, they croush, they see you, they crouch, most times shotgunners, crouching increases accuraccy, + the cheap shotgun accuraccy = disgusting
- 8# Suicidal: They get the knife and go running like crazy throwing them at enemies, because they are just too bad with weapons (why the hell they bought a call of duty game)
- 10# The "Pro" shotgunner: More than disgusting, tthe guy is NOT a newbie, he knows how to play, he is a good player, but he HAS to USE a Shotgun, its pathetic, shotguns are cheap, we understand why noobs ay use them...but a pro player?? come on...
I hope you enjoyed, these were based on experiences i had online several times, and yeah, i like to beat these types until they disconnect, this teach them a lesson or two.
Gamer44 - Lol, leave them think i am just some random noob, i could have told them i am 1st and N-space sent me an autographed game...but i didnmt see the point of it.
I'll go ahead and state the obvious: I'm not in any Call of Duty community at all, hardcore or otherwise. However, if they have a shotgun problem, they just gotta learn to fight them back. Such adaptions happen in Halo all the time. At least with me and my brother.
I play as Sonic in Super Smash Bros. Brawl because I like playing as him. Many say his Final Smash (Super Sonic) is cheap (similar to your issue with shotguns in Black Ops DS) but they just don't know a good weapon/tactic/ability when they see one. I see the problem with so-called "hardcore" gamers. You spend so much time fighting eachother that you become less suspecting to the tactics of a possibly newer player. That said, I think it's perfectly safe to say that "hardcore gamers" need to know how to fight, before they can actually wield that title. Know how to fight, and use something that can take somebody down. Like myself using Super Sonic during a Smash Ball.
no hating on shotguns. it's not my favorite weapon, but when a n00b is suicidal and comes running up to knife me, it's my temporary best friend. but the ar-15 is DEFINETLY my favorite gun, in ANY call of duty game. don't ask why, it just is.
Dude
Don't Hate On Shotguns
If You Use It Right,Of Course It's A 1-Hit Kill.
Using a Shotgun isn't as easy as you think considering the fact that you have to be upclose to get it right.
Don't complain and say its for noobs.
That's what rockets are for.
Akamia - True, i can't blame N-space tough, they did the impossible with these games, they did what no one else tried to do, plus implementing 6 player WiFi and making a system Very close to the console's version, on a relatively limited system.
Yes...its just like a kamikazi attack, they come get 1 or 2 (in small maps) and then die because the shotgun's reload is Horrible.
I consider myself as a very good player, 70% of the times i die it is because of shotguns. When i face a player with an auto, sniper, any other weapon, i have a very high chance to survive, now...against a player using a shotgun i can kill him if i shoot him in the head, but i will die the same way, Every holy time is like this, even if we shot them in the head they can pull the triggers 2 or 3 times and kill you, its annoying.
Because all they do is point the weapon at you and pull the trigger as many times as they can (what is very lame o.e) Because the bullets go everywhere and they are very powerfull.
Not even using a perk called "Body-armor" i can incease my chance of survive too much.
And it is not only me, a great part of the hardcore community agrees, i want o hearwhat you have to say.
Btw i said to don't compare other game's shotguns not strictly because of you. but for everyone else who wants to comment
I am aware of the fact that we are talking about Black Ops DS here. You do not need to point it out to me. I can read. However, talking about other games' shotguns is a different matter, and I concur, that wasn't the best move.
Okay, so the newbies using a shotgun will die anyway, is that what you're saying? All the more reason a Veteran using one is like a skilled sniper. Whether a weapon is over-powered or not is irrelevant to the case. It's the ones who use the weapons that are the problem, if I understand you correctly. Well... I'm afraid it's not the players you have to blame, but instead, the developers, for "overpowering" your game's shotgun.
I'm just gonna go out on a limb and use the creed I use with just about every game I play: If it works, use it. Do whatever is necessary to win.
If I played Black Ops DS, I would probably fall under "noob" under your criteria. But if I wanted to win, and the shotgun is as powerful as you say (not to mention you need skill to stay alive with one), all I have to say to you is... shotgun!
I have 0 shots with shotguns, i use machine guns most times, machine guns are just like the other weapons, you have only 1 little dot to shot, it is not like a shotgun, if you shot the bullets go everywhere.
Another proof shotguns are for newbies, it has a 150% accuraccy.
I don't care if newbies use shotguns, they'll die like always....every newbie does, But a Veteran and experienced player using a shotgun is disgusting.
Btw, i beat them the same way =P, but i die more...
Best way to train and become experienced is using Autos.
Shotguns are overpowered and every noobs uses it, the whole veteran community agrees.
You can shot from a long range it hits, you shot 2 time and the guy is dead, It DOES NOT need ADS you just shot, 1 shot = multiple shots, this is why the accuraccy sometimes say 150%, 180%,
[head]the next one to talk about shotguns OF ANOTHER GAME will have its comments deleted
OK, a shotgun is there to be used. If you have grief over a shotgun, fight at longer range. I don't play COD, I play Halo, and I use a shotgun (that or an Assault Rifle, or a Spartan Laser if I can get one). Am I a noob? No!
So, OBJECTION!
Shotguns are not cheap. You just don't know how to fight them/don't like them. If you were in a real war, the shotgun would probably be your best friend in close-quarters combat.
noob? HA! wats wrong with crouching nd using a shot gun? SOOO? u have the same choice of using a shotgun/knife if u dont want to use it...YOUR LOST btw..u skipped number 9
