She can bring the night
Or will follow with
Her face shines so bright
Covered in pale mist
She bathes me in light
As I stand in the dark
Calms my internal fight
I bare no remark
Peace I have not felt
In three hundred years
All my worries melt
It could bring me to tears
I'm filled with her beauty
And I feel at rest
I loose sight of my duty
For this moment, blest
I feel so alive
As I did long ago
For so much I've strived
To so many I owe
She makes me forget
But the sun starts to rise
There's still much I regret
I must say my goodbyes
I will see her again
The birds sing a new tune
I will wait 'till then
To greet the coming moon

This might be the the best poem I've ever read that wasn't written by William Shakespeare. (He wrote poems, not just plays, AND he invented the word puke!)
