I can no longer take this pain
I have suffered far to long
I feel I'm walking in the rain
What have I been doing wrong?

Is there something I am missing?
Something very far away?
While the dew is softly glistening
There is much to my dismay

I've been running, I've been hiding
Why is my life upside down?
Somehow I have missed its tiding
The trees leaves have all turned brown

Happiness can be heard near me
How come I'm left all alone?
Still the birds are singing freely
I'm not harkened by their tone

Where fear has lived, love slowly blooms
Killing off the rest of hate
Loved ones now rest within their tombs
I can now accept my fate

In the end we will all seek hope
Life will grow within thy sight
In dark places it can be scoped
In all of us hope shines bright
