After fourth hour, I visit Sherry in front of her AP Biology class. We usually talk with Lori, Becca, Shreya, Bri and Jon. Today was funny because Lokesh and Matt decided to pick Sherry up and try to carry her outside. My orchestra teacher doesn’t really notice if we walk in late, so I usually stay with sherry for a little while, or just until the bell rings.
So, I finally get to 5th hour, and Mr. M is wearing one of his awesome sweaters like he does everyday. Today was the one with red, green, and blue stripes. The other day, I was telling him about how I was thinking of a song in the shower, but I couldn’t remember the name. Coincidentally, it was the song that he brought out for us to play today. I was definitely excited. We played that for about 30 minutes, and he let us split up into our groups to practice our partner songs. Sean went home, so I just went in a practice room and played the piano. Katie, and Emily came in because they didn’t feel like playing anymore, and we just talked for about 15 minutes until class was over. The bell rings at 2:33, and school is over, but I still have more stuff to do after school.
I have madrigal choir afterschool, and I get extra credits for being in the class. Before that, right after school, I go to the other side of the school and meet Kristina, Kirsten, Holly, Dom, Tino, and Cordell to just goof around for a while. We usually go late to choir, but Ms. Schuette doesn’t really mind.
After choir is rehearsal for the musical. Today was the first day we sang with the pit orchestra, so we were there for a log time. We’re doing the musical, Urinetown. It’s actually really funny and interesting. Satire. I got my costume. It’s a cute navy blue dress with white spots, and I have to wear my black heels. It’s not that hard dancing in heels, I just have to make sure not to make loud clicking sounds. “Dance on mah toes,” as Kristina would say. TV-10, our local TV station, came in to film our rehearsal, so we did some dances for them. It’s ironic how people always come in to film, or take pictures, on the days that I choose to wear sweatpants and a T-shirt. A girl came up to me and asked why my shirt said “Boys Varsity Tennis.” I told her that I was on the team until I got a sex change. She knew I was joking. I was the manager.
So that’s pretty much what I did all day today. I got home around 5:30 and went to Kroger for my mom and dad. Then I fell asleep when I got back.
