Nintendo once said the eShop and Browser would be available in a day 1 firmware update, whoever, things changed.
The Nintendo eShop will offer a large amount of media and software content, videos, games, news.
Gameboy Games and exclusive 3DS store games will also be available, as well as DSiWare titles probably.
Unfortunately Nintendo had to change the plans of releasing it in day 1, we do not know why, maybe they are setting up licensing for the free 3D content we will get (Shaun the Sheep in 3D for example, for european users only i guess) and content from Sky TV and EuroSport, not forgetting the movies we will be able to watch in Full 3D.
Shaun the Sheep, from Aardman Animations, the creators of the famous Wallace and Gromit, Morph. Zoom
Well, not very good news but i guess this won't kill anybody, remember people, all this stuff takes time...and Nintendo is already working at full speed to provide enough 3DS units worldwide, i guess this time we can give them a break.
Also, pointing a important fact: Nintendo refrains from making us pay monthly taxes, they said and showed that once in the WiFi connection, showed again not making the 3DS with 3G built-in and will probably show it once again making some kind of deal with Sky TV. The xbox 360 gets a content "Sky Player" and you need a sky subscription, so if we get free Sky TV content, heh, lucky us...and thanks to nintendo!
also...
Shaun the Sheep will be available over the SpotPass application, you'll randomly get the 1 minute short series maybe everyday? every 2 days? we don't know, we know you'll get a notification of a new content delivered over SpotPass and BAM! sUrPriSe! its Shaun the Sheep!
Oh well.
And once again...
Thank you for reading! you are always free to leave a comment bellow, we'll see you again in the next blogs
does it have a browser that lets you watch videos?if it does, will it be availible for dsi?email my profile to tell me, because i have a life, and i cant spend my hole day here!
Also not available until May will be the software transfers from DSi to 3DS. Which could possibly be a problem for those looking to trade-in their DSi systems due to the limited SD storage support.
I'll definitely be looking forward to the VC software from the shop. Nintendo also reports that they will offer "3D Classics", 3-D remakes of classic games.
