"What the-" Reo's eyes drifted slowly up to the being standing on his runeblade. The figure kicked him in the face and Reo fell backwards. It grabbed his sword as it came loose from his grip. The blade instantly was reduced to ashes and flew into the air as if blown by the wind. Reo suddenly was not there. The hooded being looked at me. It's face was still obscured by some sort of spell and it came at me with suprising speed, wildly spinning its daggers at me. I dodged the attack and slashed towards its face but it swept its blades at my legs and I was knocked off my feet.
The being turned again and Reo appeared in front of it. He elbowed it in the face and it fell to the floor unconcious. "It can't be Darin. The fighting style is much different," Reo infered.
"Darin...could have been restored." I jumped to my feet.
Reo shook his head, "He is lying at the bottom of the crevass." He knelt down and wiped his hand over the white-clothed being. The spell dissapated. Reo pulled the hood back at revealed its face. A fair haired blood elf with dark lips and angular jaw was underneath the hood. She was, infact, almost as beautiful as my Lanalie. It had been some time since I had seen actuall beauty.
"Levinden."Reo looked aw struck.
"Who is she?" I studied the almost angelic face.
Reo sighed and swallowed. "She was...my lover." Reo almost seemed pained at saying the words.
"You- you had once loved?" I blinked. I had never thought of Reo ever holding a relationship of the sort.
"I can't save Darin. But her...Thankfully I did not kill her." He grasped the blood elf by the shoulders and shook her firmly. Her eyes opened imediatley. They were are marvelous purple hue that glowed almost piercingly.
"Reondalis." Leviden's bright eyes looked over Reo. She placed a hand on his face and caressed it lovingly. A flicker of regret flashed in Reo's eyes but he did not physically react to the gesture.
