The NGP has been announced! It will battle against the 3DS in the handheld war! ......next year...
The PSP2, also known as ""Next Generation Portable"" will be available early 2012 for americans and possibly in holidays for our japan friends, 2011
So far, unlike nintendo sony said everything, or almost everything about its console in a single event, may its some kind of strategy to lower 3DS sales, as we can watch in the very few gameplay videos it will be capable of processing stunning graphics close to the PS3, it will also features motion and gyro sensors, 2 ANALOG sticks (they are not sliders) 2 slide panels in the back and a big 5 inch high resolution screen, sony must be using its console's horsepower to rival the 3DS, instead of using features and "gimmicks".
PSP2 Analog stick, problem for our pockets?
OK no more talking and lets discuss about the graphics and how they roll on the little big device with its 5 inch OLED screen.
Yes, they are amazing but not as perfect as the PS3 graphics, but thing brings us some consequences.
It was said metal gear solid 4, for the ps3 was running at 15-20 frames per second, for you guys to have a idea the 3DS Minimal fps rate is 30, with full 3D on (60 fps is max)
Heres another image.
Something consumers always had problems with was PSP's heat, which was not very friendly.
The ps3 already has a "little" problem with keeping its temperature down, will the NGP have the same problem?
i don't really know yet. I LOVE the upcoming 3DS, and I will try to get it as soon as I can, but I've heard about "some" games that will probably come out for the NGP.
I'm a gamer and I could get them both, each one has its own things
Yeeeaaa 3DS still kills psp2. Although it might catch the 3DS off guard with its 5' OLED multi-touch screen, it will still be cought off guard with the pocket issue. Plus, people dont like carrying around big, bulgy gadgets. We like slim, comfortable gadgets.
Good detail, but the only PS-System I want is PS1, which I have...
In regards to the Announcement, they're gonna have trouble lowering 3DS sales. Nintendo keeps us on our toes w/ the updates and ominous-ness of the 3DS Details.
