No sign of my friend Karen anywhere. I was by myself this time. Luke's friend, Ollie, was standing outside his class.
9:30
I went to Karen's class, but she wasn't there. Instead I talked to my friends Evan and Ryan. Luke was in this class as well. He was his random self. A guy from my class named Jayden came in to talk to Evan and Ryan.
Jayden threw my pen and my hat across the room. Then he dropped my binder. My reaction was like Luke's when his friend Alex did the same thing with his binder.
Lunch
Since Karen was invisible, I went online.
Afternoon
I rushed to class once again. I sat at the front, where Luke sat. Luke wasn't there yet, so I talked to the teacher in front of me.
"Why do you have a pen in your mouth?" I asked.
"Where else could it be? My feet?"
"You like sitting there, don't you?"
"Yeah. You wish you want a chair like mine."
Luke still hasn't come. I continued to talk to the teacher. "I'm so lonely."
"Isn't there someone sitting beside you?"
"Yes, but he's not here yet."
Class started. Luke was the only person that wasn't in class. Everyone took turns saying their first and last names. When I got to say my name, Luke finally came in. "I was late," he said.
Then he sat by me.
The teacher asked him for his name. "Luke," he replied.
Then the teacher asked him a different question in French.
Luke was confused. "What?"
"Your last name," I said.
"Oh! Luke Preston," he replied.
Luke and I interviewed each other again. This time, we asked 'how old are you?'
When class was over, I said bye to Luke. He quietly said bye to me.
1:30
I found Karen. She had an appointment so that's why she wasn't there this morning.
I had gym with Ollie. Well, we were supposed to go outside but it was too cold.
