As Endo and his older brothers walked down the barren road, Endo noticed their was nobody out. Especially on a weekend, it is normally busy. Ignoring his uneasy conscience, he walked on.
Sensei's house came into view. Endee came onto the doorstep and knocked. After an interlude of footsteps, we heard our old master say, "Come on in, I've been expecting you!". As the trio of brothers walked, the Sensei smiled. He was an old man, hunched over a cane. Though he was blind, he trained himself to memorize his surroundings. He wore a white robe with a sleek blue stripe down the middle. "Unfortunatly, this will be our last lesson together. I have...bad news.". Sensei looked unusually uneasy. He spoke on.
" You three have shown me unbelievable strength, skill, and loyalty. No matter the challenge, you three passed it with flying colors. But today is a bad day. You three know who Keaznos is, right? The most evil being alive? Well, he's broken from his prison and is walking among us, disguised. In nearby cities there has been reportings of break-ins, riots, fires, you name it. You three are amoung the warriors defending this humble town. I have chosen weapons for you, as you will need them."
Sensei walked to three chests laying on the ground. He unlocked the first. In it, was an exquisite bow and arrow quiver. The bow was made of elegant wood, curved at the edges. The quiver had fine leather, and it looked durable.
"Endee, I present you this bow and arrow. But this is not just any bow. If you show off enough effort, this bow will shoot off arrows at lightning speeds, and they may catch aflame!" The Sensei smiled and handed Endee the weapon.
He proceded to open the next chest. In it was... A pair of nunchuks. The chain connecting them was made of gold. The nunchuks themselves were jet black, and looked lethal.
"Endi, these are very dangerous. I think I can entrust you with these nunchuks, for you have shown the most skill. Be careful not to hurt yourself with this, for it us easy to!
Opening the third chest, Sensei hesitated, then pulled out the weapon. It was two elegant katanas. The blades were solid silver, and the handles were marked with a diamond.. It looked absolutely awesome.
"Endo, Endo. You have shown me power and stamina like no other. I weld these swords once, and they served me well. I think you are perfect with them, I just know it."
"Now," Said Sensei. "Time is short, and you must leave. I have business to take care of."
Walking home, Endo thought of his weapon. It was graceful, and he thought it was too much for the Sensei to give him. Closing his eyes when he dropped into his bed, he smiled softly.
