What is OverlorDS?
It is a text-based role-playing game in which you take the role of a user to eventually become the ultimate website overseer, the Overlord.

How do I play OverlorDS?
You can play the game here. Once you click 'continue', you can create a character.

Which character should I choose?
Each choice has different advantages; allowance is your money that lets you buy stat-helping items, caffeine allows you to perform actions, and battery allows you to battle. The more you have of one allows you to be more efficient in that aspect.

Why is there an admin name under my username?
In case you forgot, that's the character you chose. It has nothing to do with the actual admin.

I've used up my battery and my caffeine. What do I do now?
You have to either wait for the stats to recharge with time, or you can buy an appropriate item from the shop.

Does battling get easier when my Awesome Points go up?
The chances for winning a battle are pretty much always 50-50.

Are some NPCs easier or harder?
They all have the same difficulty to beat.

What does Sunlight do?
It's an item that slightly increases one's chances of beating Blacula.

What are "Updates"?
That used to be a list of the updates made to the game. But the game has been finalized for awhile, so don't expect any new ones.

How many Awesome Points do I need to reach Overlord?
Exactly 16,383.

My site rep turned to "Banned". Am I really banned?
No, you don't actually get banned, so there's no need to be cautious about that.

My site rep went down, but I didn't even battle anyone. Why?
When you play OverlorDS, other players who are playing at the same time can battle "you". If they win, your site rep can decrease and eventually become "Banned".

Do I actually become an Overlord?
Contrary to popular belief, no. OverlorDS is just a game.

Are the leader boards real?
Even though some of the numbers may look fishy because some players like playing with their numbers, yes, they are real.

So I got Overlord. What now?
If you got Overlord status, you've beaten the game. Congrats on the badge, and you can always try to compete with the leader boards. Also, a sequel to the game is planned to be made for the Nintendo 3DS browser.
