Hello, it's me, Shawn again. This time, im gonna talk about the 3DS.
For anyone that doesnt know what this "3DS" is, I'll explain. The Nintendo 3DS is a revolutionary 3-D gaming device. Yup, that right, i said 3D! Not only that, but its a handheld and doesnt even need glasses!
It works by having a built-in gyroscope in it that when it is tilted in a direction, it seems like the objects 'in' the screen move, but they dont! It appears to be in 3D because little peices of the screen, only your left eye can see, and the other half of the little peices of the screen only your right eye can see.
It has an accelerometer in it that when you walk with it in you pocket, it counts your total amount of steps taken. This little feature even gives you a 'game coin' for every 100 steps you have taken. But you can only gain 10 game coins a day. These game coins are still a mystery to many of us, but it seems that they will be used w/ Super Street Fighter™ IV 3D Edition.
It comes with outside cameras that are .3 megapixels. seems low, but it's still good quality. The two out-ide cameras can take 3D Pictures and record 3D videos! There is also one .3 megapixel camera inside that can take 2D pictures and recored 2D videos.
It comes with 6 Agumented Reality cards that use the two outside cameras to play a minigame on each, in 3D too! One is a Target Shooting game, another is a fishing game, and the others are a mystery too.
It will have a newer Web Browser that will suport flash, but it doesn't come with the system, it will be available in June as an update with the e-shop, and Netflix!
It has backwords compatibility for ds games, dsi games, and dsi ware titles.
It has a 3D adjuster on the side that can be put from off to full for the 3D effects.
It has multitasking capabilities, allowing you to pause your game and go to anything and come back to it uninterupted!
It has Spotpass that automaticaly connects to a unlocked wifi spot. All this and more for $250 available March 27
