Strong winds and the sea in a rage, working was difficult but we loaded Whirlpool with food, ammunition and water.
We were ready, everyone was. Nearly 100 Treasure hunters, sailors and mercenaries in boats of countless classes together in the same fight.
Note 5 - Hell in water
All these boats together, sailing at the same time, in a non-friendly sea with monsters all around and I was almost freaking out.
When the Balance God awakens, the monster with good and evil in the soul, corrupted by underworld overlods....makes every monster in the world stronger and even the passive ones start attacking cities, people, you. Thats why it must be stopped before everything gets crazy and the cities start collapsing. The sea is full of little monsters that don't USUALLY attack boats....but this time they attacked, and this time it seems they are in a bigger quantity.
A Hell
Nobody, or almost nobody is teaming here, every boat has a crew and that crew must take care of themselves and the boat. It was like a big war where one of the sides fighting, isn't a side. Boats exploding, men in water, Canon balls, Monsters all around, and an horrible end for the most unlucky souls.
Cyntia couldn't stop looking around defending the boat with her magical abilities and Rick with the canons, I was in the command and Rick was also taking the defense, the storm was strong, and so were the waves.
Note 6 - The portal appears.
After 20 minutes of unstoppable fight we reached the portal, it was a big hurricane in the middle of nowhere, between 3 seas. It was a Hurricane with a very strong light.. Green light and there was a world of boats all around, fighting, trying to survive the horde of monsters and get a little space to enter the portal and escape that hell to get in another hell.
The portal leads to the unknown island, where the awakened devil is.
Note 7 - Sand, water, injuries -
We got in, finally after several minutes of fight. Everyone behind that portal was already feeling as winners, unlike Ascaron and the other regions this misterious island had a calm weather, getting off the portal we can see the earth, but around theres nothing but sea.
We found several pirates and sailors hurt in the sand, people taking care of them, it was more like a defeated army than a army prepared to fight the baddest.
Our boat was in a good state, some scratches around but nothing destroyed and no one hurt, countless boats and battleships didn't stop coming from the portal and some in a very bad state.
Cyntia got her medical kit out and started to help others, me and Rick prepared the weapons and stuff we could bring with us to the fight. Flander was helping Navys to set up a giant camping protection and strategical placed defences, we couldn't fight in that state. Near 150 Hunters couldn't.
Note 7 - Resting
After the most exciting and bloody experience of our lives, everyone was resting and gathering forces for the next day, the day we would explore that island and take down that thing ordering and making stronger monster attacks to our world.
I was cleaning my red swords, while sitting on a wood log taken out of a merchant Navy ship to help with the camping. Cyntia came by and offered me a coconut shaintain drink, I gladly accepted, I love the taste of Mystical Ocean's local habits.
Without that heavy armor, I laid near my friends in that improvised camping and beds, and together near eachother we fell asleep. Since we were near the campsite entrance, we could see the stars...and we slept on that weird island hoping and praying we don't wake up dead the next day.
This story isn't supposed to be big, i was planning to make 3 blogs but i will probably have to make 4.
As you may already know, english isn't my native language so my vocabulary is too limited for the kind of description style i use when i am writing in Portuguese, for example, so i tried to make the blog as short as possible in therms of description to don't screw it up, the images are supposed to create the description missing, took me several hours to take/find, edit, resize, upload and set the tags in the blogs, without saying i had to send those to LIEUTENANT to review all my grammar, despite it not being too horrible as i tough.
By the way, i wrote all these parts on my DSi, i have like 6 blog dratfs to clean out....when i finish making those.
I will, probably when i am in vacation, translate this entire story to portuguese, edit it and put proper descriptive aspects on it, re-translated in english then re-post it with new and some recycled images from these blogs.
I will probably add some surprises and even more structure since i will make them for the 3DS, (letting it be as compatible as possible with the DSi bowser)
Taking in consideration all the aspects, limitations and several hours of work ONLY for editing, i guess this is a work worth reading and expending a few minutes.
On the 3DS version, i probably transform this on a internet book, expect nice stuff since i have been getting a lot of support recently.
Thanks for being an honest person with me, i appreciate that and i will take your comment as reference.
@ici, I presume they're screenshots from a videogame.
Gleeok, since everybody else seems to be giving endless praise on your stories, I'm gonna be a rebel and give some honest crit.
It doesn't flow well, some of the grammar's off, and a lot of the action is very narrative. Right now the characters have been developed so little I couldn't care less if they died on the spot. I understand it wasn't possible to make it as long as you'd like, but still, it seems to progress very very rapidly, leaving too little room for description.
Sorry if it comes off as harsh, but I think it'll help you improve more than torrents of endless dishonest worship.
