Chrome is faster! Firefox is more popular! Opera has a great interface!

This is your average rant about browser wars. Take it from BanMan, a wonderful source. Five major browsers, and many people choose one or two. So, how do browsers compare?

The major five consist of the following: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Safari, and Chrome.

Internet Explorer is probably the most widely used among "casual" users, who don't really know what a browser is. Take Firefox now. It has been rapidly growing to the most popular browser recently, with a new version coming soon. Opera is the least popular browser, although it has no major drawbacks. However, Safari is mainly used on Apple devices, but some people use it on PC. And Chrome has steadily grown since it's release.

I, for one, have each of these installed. I use Opera, because I like it. Many people are against it, but a good percent of people who are haven't tried it.

So it really comes down to one thing: opinion. Some people like certain features better than others, and that's how it will stay as long as more than one browser exists. If only there was peace in the browser world...

I use Chrome, mostly because it's simple, fast, and lightweight. Easy to use. And while Google may record all of the websites you visit and sell them off to third parties, it's a good browser.

Although, I have lately started using Opera more and more, ever since I read HB's blog on Google.

I don't care as long as
1-it's not laggy
2-it's semi-fast loading.
3-it can handle minecraft classic.

I have IE and Crome on my PC, Im the only one in the family who uses crome. I use Crome mainly but my dad gets confused with it so he doesnt use it even though it's abviosly better. Crome is faster, smarter, better formatt, better features, better layout, supports more stuff, heck its just better than IE. So I mainly use Crome but use IE once in a while.

i use chrome, its smooth, user friendly, very few buttons to click on the top. i opened IE yesterday, took 2 minutes to start up (plus another one to load the page)... i could have made a sandwich in that time!

I have never in my long history of IE got a virus, nore any trojan or whatever they are called.

Firefox is a lot slower than IE for me, so is Safari, I have yet to use Chrome/Opera so I can't say anything.

Most people "diss" IE because it is the standard browser, which is apparently "noobish"

i prefer firefox, I actually havent tried IE9 (takes like an hour to download) and firefox is wicked fast on youtube for me : D plus, I made my own minecraft theme (persona i think) and ie doesnt support that :p

Firefox is ok for ram if you disable your unused add ins.

I love firegestures, it's a real time saver for me.
Firefox is the most personalized, that's why I use it.

Chrome. Faster, Cooler, and Easier. I can have all sorts of cool apps, run Google™ fast, and have so many many small features that in turn equal a lot. Secondary is Opera, for my DSi.

Who could like IE, Safari, or Opera over FF? FF is open source, has lots of great add-ons for it, and more!

Silver - one of the reasons I dropped Firefox was because of all the memory leaks. My old laptop had 1GB of RAM and would grind to a halt if I viewed any image sharing websites for more than 10 minutes. Newer versions of Firefox have somewhat solved that, but the browser takes so long to load up and chugs along compared to the other browsers.

1.Opera (only cause its on my muums defalt browser)
2.Google Chrome
3.Internet explorer -
4&5 - Tied ,Safari and Firefox.They waste alot of memory on the comp...And i just plain hate it..

My favorite to least favorite browser:
1. Opera (fast, lightweight, standards compliant, integrates everything)
2. Safari (fast, leader in CSS3 and HTML5)
3. Firefox (plug-ins)
4. Internet Explorer (meh)
5. Chrome (no way, Google)

IE is one of the most bug-happy Browsers around. It is the only thing about PCs that bug me. Thank Clouds for Firefox.

Do you guys not know that Chrome is a copy of Chromium?
Differance is, Google Chrome has crappy privacy policy.
Opera is just a differant interface nothing special..
Firefox is alive only and only because of it's extentions..
And Internet Explorer is a noobs world..

I use internet.

It let's me browse the web, which is all I need.

I "threw out" Safari on my Mac, and replaced it with Firefox. But, I still don't have a modem.
